Michelle Spell & Melanie Cambell have teamed up and opened their own place! With roots in Summerville’s quilt shop ‘People, Places & Quilts,’ together they bring over 20 years of combined teaching, sewing, quilting, & machine expertise.
As the owner ‘The Wobbly Bobbin’ by ML Spell Designs, Michelle’s specialty is piecing & quilting education, pattern writing, quilt-making, binding services, and longarm quilting (currently free-motion edge-to edge with computerized coming soon).
Melanie is owner of “Sewing Machine Spa & Repair,” and she specializes in machine maintenance & repair for Janome, Kenmore, New Home, Singer, and most vintage machines, and is Janome certified. She also offers quilt-making services.
They both offer classes (private & public) as well as private lessons in piecing, quilting, binding, fabric collage, and general sewing projects.
Their current hours are by appointment Monday-Tuesday & Saturday and 10 am -2pm Wednesday-Friday.
